Located in the vibrant heart of Christchurch, Southwark Apartments is a proudly family-run hotel offering a unique blend of value, comfort, and thoughtful design. Established in 2008 by Nigel and Julie Lundy, the property was born out of a vision to provide modern, flexible accommodation options for travelers of all kinds. Following the growth of the city after the 2011 earthquakes, Southwark expanded in both 2016 and 2024, allowing us to offer even more room types to meet the diverse needs of our guests.

Family-Run with a Personal Touch

Southwark Apartments continues to be supported by the Lundy family, whose hands-on involvement and attention to detail shape the friendly, welcoming atmosphere that guests love. The hotel is managed by Alisa Ravelje, a well-known name in the hotel industry, who brings unparalleled expertise and a commitment to excellent guest service.
